Product Description

[Application scope]
ZDY4000LD(C) full hydraulic underground directional drilling rig is a compact small-scale directional drilling rig integrated with drill unit, power pack, operation panel, explosion-proof laptop, flow meter and emergency stop switch. It is applicable to various drilling operation such as mud drive downhole motor directional drilling, air drive downhole motor directional drilling and regular rotatory drilling. Application of the rig includes directional drilling operations for gas drainage, water detection or discharge, grout injection, exploration of geological structure, detection of seam thickness, water injection into coal seam, etc.

[Main characters and advantages]
(1) The drilling rig meets the construction requirements of both mud drive downhole motor and air drive downhole motor. With air drive downhole motor, the system can also be used in soft and outburst-prone coal seams (Protodyakonov Coefficient (f)≤0.5).
(2) The width of the machine in transportation condition is only 0.95m. Therefore it has strong adaptability and can adapt to the multi-purpose drilling construction in narrow roadway and underground space.
(3) Integrated control valve design allows the control console has compact in structure, less hose connection and high reliability, which is also convenient for later maintenance.
(4) The rig has large adjustment ranges of drill azimuth, height and inclination with hydraulic angle adjustment device. Azimuth angle can be adjusted from-90° to +90°, and the horizontal lifting height is 0.65m. The horizontal drilling height can be adjusted from 1.25 to 1.90m. The tilt angle of drilling can be adjusted from -90° to +90°.
(5) The feeding system adopts steel-to-steel structure guide rail for wear resistance, good performance and long service life. Two-sided rotatable front top device is convenient for on-site adjustment of stable points. It can maintain stable and reliable when stabilize the rig, and it can also be easy to deploy the BOP device.
(6) The rig has a stable retractable stabilizing device. It can be adjusted according to the needs during on-site construction. The distance between the four lower legs can be adjusted from 0.95m to 1.39m which leads wider support width and higher stability.

Stratum situation:The coal seam is thin, soft and broken, the permeability is poor, the gas content is large and the pressure is high. The average thickness of 16# coal seam is 2.88m, the gas content is 12.16-18.28m3 /t, the hardness coefficient of coal seam F =0.37, the gas pressure P=0.52MPa, and the maximum is 0.90MPa.

From March to May, 2018, 5 directional drilling holes and 2 main branch holes of broken soft coal seam were completed on site in the north section of track 21606 of Qinglong Coal Mine, with the maximum hole depth of 385m and the total drilling feet of 3,014m. From June to August, 7 directional drilling holes and 2 main branch holes of broken soft coal seam were completed in 21608 track parallel drilling yard, with the maximum hole depth of 406m and the total penetration of 3929m. The hole formation rate of drilling holes above 300m was 88.9%. As of 2019, air screw drilling tool directional drilling technology has been used to construct 35 bedding gas drainage boreholes with a depth of 150m, a hole diameter of 108mm, and a spacing of 6m at the 21606 working face of Qinglong Mine.




2.Directional drilling under the cover of bedding strips------------Longfeng Coal Mine, Guizhou

From February 25 to April 5, 2019, a total of 10 directional drilling main holes and 8 branch holes were constructed. The cumulative total footage is 3613m, and the hole formation rate is 100%.
